Fire Protection

The FP 400E valve is an advanced elastomeric, rolling diaphragm globe valve with a solid radial seal disc. These automatic water control valves are designed for both vertical and horizontal installations and are available in diameters ranging from 1½” to 14” (DN40 to DN350).

The FP 400E valves are utilized for water flow control in deluge systems, combination pressure control deluge systems, preaction systems, and water/foam systems. Available in a variety of construction materials, these valves meet diverse industrial specifications.

The FP 400E Deluge Valve operates through line pressure, remaining closed by system water pressure trapped in the control chamber. When the releasing system is activated, pressure is released from the control chamber, allowing the seal disc to open and water to flow into the system. The valve body is designed with a single, full-bore seat and an unobstructed flow path, free of any in-line ribs, supporting cages, or shafts.
